Where Land Meets Sea
In 2020, between lockdowns, I solo-hiked the South West Coast Path - a 630-mile trail that winds its way along the edge of some of Britain’s most dramatic coastal landscapes. Over ten weeks, the walk became more than just a route but a quiet act of healing: it was a process of recovery, reflection, and reconnection; through the land to myself. This series reflects the mental and physical movement of that journey and recalls for me the rise and fall of the land beneath my feet.
Each print is a response to the elemental forces encountered along the way—windswept cliffs, shifting tides, skudding clouds, and shadowed coves. The work captures moments of stillness and exposure, strength and surrender. An ongoing series, these prints honour the enduring pull of the coast and the healing power of walking—where every step along the edge becomes a way back to oneself.
